1. State the problem- Does movement affect the distance of how far the beach ball travels?
2. Gather information- When you kick the ball it may or may not go farther because of how far you kick it.
3. Hypothesis- I think that the ball will go a farther distance when kicked from a running start.
4. Experiment- We did 9 trials of kicking the ball with a running start and with a standing start.
5. Results- With 9 trials, we found that kicking from a running start moves the ball farther
6. Conclusion- By kicking the ball with a running start the ball travels farther than kicking it with just a standing start. Therefore, my hypothesis was correct.
